Frequently asked questions

Is this an official Exoikonomo 2026 application?

No. It is a quick, indicative check based on the current programme guide — not an official assessment. Final eligibility is decided by an energy inspector during the site survey.

Do I need to be under an income threshold to qualify?

Most Exoikonomo 2026 categories have no income criteria. There is extra support for vulnerable households (personal income under €5,000 or household income under €10,000), but that affects the size of the grant, not necessarily entry into the programme.

What is the difference between the provider route and the engineer route?

A provider delivers the whole process turnkey, with repayment through your electricity bill. An independent engineer designs the measures with no incentive to sell specific equipment. We help you choose the route that fits your case.

What if I have taken part in Exoikonomo before?

It may affect eligibility depending on the terms of the new call — it needs a case-by-case check, which we do free of charge at the first appointment.
